Dr. Natalie Bohlmann is an Associate Professor of Education here at MSUB. She began teaching in 1993. She became an MSUB Professor in 2007. Dr. Bohlmann gained her Bachelor's Degree from the University of California San Diego, her Master's from San Diego State, and her Ph.D. from the University of California Berkeley.
Dr. Bohlmann says that the most difficult aspect of getting her degree was passing the qualifiers to gain her Ph.D. Her favorite part about her job, the job she worked so hard to gain, is the students and the little moments in class. She enjoys when students engage and gain a community among themselves. Her favorite part of the MSUB Campus is that she can make it from her office in the College of Education to the Student Union Building in less than 5 minutes.
Dr. Natalie Bohlmann enjoys many things outside of the classroom and when asked to give some examples she instantly mentioned how she enjoys woodworking and does body combat for stress relief. Her favorite vacation is hiking with a backpack, which she's done in several countries.
When asked what advice she'd give students, Dr. Bohlmann responded, "Do your reading in advance. It makes a huge difference in learning and engagement."
